What age is best for a cake smash photoshoot?
Cake smash photoshoots are typically done around your child’s first birthday (11-13 months). It’s a great way to mark their transition into toddlerhood.
Do I need to bring the cake?
No! I provide a custom cake as part of our packages. Just let us know any dietary restrictions or colour themes, and I'll take care of the rest.
Can siblings or parents join the photoshoot?
Capture stunning photos of the birthday boy or girl in a session full of excitement! Family and sibling images will not be taken as your little one may become overstimulated with everything going on for and hour plus session, as the focus will be on capturing priceless moments for your birthday child.
If you want to celebrate your Childs birthday incorporation family and or siblings a Family Photoshoot in replace of a cake smash will be best, with this option I can still keeping the session fun to capture those smiley faces.
How messy does it get?
Very messy! But don’t worry—I have the splash session right after to clean up and capture more adorable moments in the bath.
What happens if I cant make the date?
No problem! I understand that plans can change. I offer one complimentary date change with at least 7 days' notice, especially for cake smash sessions, as the cake needs to be prepared in advance. If rescheduling happens after the cake is already made and it can’t be reused, unfortunately, the booking fee will need to be charged again to cover the cost of a new cake.
Please note no RAW images will be provided, all images will be hand edited ensuring all the finer details are perfect.
