Being pregnant is such a magical time, creating a life and bringing that little life into this big world is mind blowing when you think about it. Your body will change every day as that little life grows inside you, capturing this amazing time with beautiful professional photographs and hand edited photos to cherish in the years to come is a must.
I love maternity photography sessions, it's a chance as a professional maternity photographer to let the creativity flow and capture the most beautiful baby bump photos, as well as seeing beautiful ladies going through pregnancy shine and have some fun, while capturing beautiful timeless photos that are worthy of pride and place on your walls.
My aim is to offer a professional, fun, comfortable maternity photoshoot. Using props and dresses from my studio stock to create the best unique images in the style you want time and time again.
When do I book a professional newborn photographer?
The best time to book in if you are an expecting Mommy to be is after your first scan, so around 12 weeks. I do leave room in my schedule to make adjustments to session dates if things change as they sometimes do. I generally don't book more than 3 sessions a week, which gives us space to move things around should we need to. If you're looking to have a newborn photoshoot as well then it's around the same time as you book your maternity photo shoot, this will allow you to take advantage of the bump to baby photo package which means you pay only the session retainer fee once.
What To Bring To A Maternity Photoshoot?
This is a short and easy one, when visiting any high end professional maternity photographer everything you will need from dresses to props will be supplied. Anything you would like to wear or include in the shoot can be brought along to my maternity photoshoots and will be used as you request, I pride myself on providing a photo shoot with fresh artistic ideas for every time by thinking outside the box.
I would like to take this opportunity to discuss my pricing for a maternity photography, the booking fee is to secure your booking only and is non refundable, however I am flexible if you cannot make your session date due to the unforeseen events that life likes to throw at us from time to time, so it's not the end of the world if you can't make it, I do however ask that you turn up for your chosen pregnancy photoshoot time on time as I more often than not shoot 2 to 3 a day and a professional maternity photography session can vary between 1 to 3 hours depending on the shoot and what style your after.
You do not spend a penny or have any commitment to photo packages until your gallery viewing, all maternity photography photo packages and wall art are the purchased after our face to face gallery viewing, where I will invite you back to the studio for tea, coffee and a biscuit to sit back in comfort and see a professional slideshow of all your finished images on a large screen.
